Info for dealers selling parts
Product Liability Insurance: This is the category that your business may fall into. If you sell or manufacture products, product liability insurance will protect you in the event that a customer becomes injured while using your stuff. For example you sell a part to a customer for their ATV. You believe its a quality part. But for example, someone could sue you if they weren’t happy with the quality of your product which in turn might have ruined their ATV and caused them INJURY. It’s ridiculous I know, but it could happen. The amount of coverage and the level of risk depends on your business type. YOU CAN BY PARTS ANYWHERE BUT GOD FORBID THE PART IS DEFECTIVE AND SOMEONE GETS HURT. You could lose your entire business. MAKE SURE PARTS YOU SELL ARE LIABILITY INSURED
