Honda Nighthawk 250 1991 Cost?

My friend has a Honda Nighthawk 250 1991, he said its in excellent shape, only has 2000 miles/k's on it.

I believe he will be selling it, does anyone know anything about this bike and how much it should cost?

Thats a tough one because you have a very old unremarkable bike but also very good quality with an extremely low number of miles. Keep in mind at that age absolutely everything needs to be serviced and/or replaced. All hoses/lines/seals/gaskets/shoes/pads/tires etc etc.

I am going to say in the area of $1,000.00. Maybe 1200-1500 if it is in absolutely perfect shape. Any damage or wear/tear and the price starts dropping dramatically. If its got even a single scratch in the paint or any rust or pitting in the chrome at that age its a $500.00 bike.

I would want to know the full story on why the 2000 miles and where and how its been stored over the past 25 years.

Running bikes of that age seem to be 500-1000 typically, depending on wear and tear.
