2015 NW Chinese bike camp/ride gathering?
Anyone interested in a camp and ride in the northwest? I'm thinking somewhere like Hells Canyon where camping is free, scenery is great, and there are lots of dirt and paved roads to explore. Sometime in late May or June should be fine this year because of a lack of snow at higher altitudes.

That is worth thinking about. I might like to drag my trailer, in which case I'd probably use Pittsburgh Campground, which is SW of Lewiston. It's a good deal, with RV camp sites at $8.00 per night. I could make it there in about 8 hours.
I might be ready by June, but May is pushing it a bit for me. I'll think about it.

Plans are beginning to come together for the Magruder Corridor in late July or early August. We'll trailer our bikes to a base camp not too far off the pavement at the west end of Magruder where we'll stay for several days to a week. Most of the guys will have vans, truck campers, or small motor homes along with small motorcycles from Trail 90s to ATVs. So far we have interest from folks from BC, Montana, Oregon, and California.
This is an opportunity to camp and ride with some good folks, most of whom I've known for many years. Pipe up if you're interested so you can be in on the planning. http://www.everytrail.com/guide/magr...uide/map#poi-0 |

I'm out. Mrs. Weldangrind and I planned a trip to NW WA State during that time.
Have fun!

I'd like to see a East Cost meet at the Dragon!

It rains up there!
We're also having a week long camp/ride near the north rim of the Grand Canyon 7/11 to 7/19. Camping in a big open meadow on national forest land a few miles off the highway. Everyone welcome. More details if anyone wants to join us. |
