I'm going to need some main jets over here PICS & SOUND
I got an exhaust coming and I'm sure it will require a rejet soooo my question is : where to get them? what sizes to get (I'll have to look at the installed one I guess)?

still working that out. With the K&N and and the modafided stock muffler I'm runing a 110 and I am going to try 112.5 and see if thats better or not. but I would get a hand full. starting at 105, 110, 112.5, 115. to start with. I did Denis Kerk and the jets were about 2 bucks each. good luck

I have a pz27 carb that came with a 106 stock. It's only a 150 cc. I'm using a 110 now. The 106 will be too small for your 200cc. But it's yours if you think you can use it.
Too bad I had a 112 in my hand, but I gave it back to the mechanic at my local shop. He gave me the 110 and 112 to try. You should be able to pick up a 112 pretty easy at your local shop. Dirt Cheap I think MsRandi is correct get a few. N2r. |

Yeah I plan to get a few sizes(4 or 5).I will go out today and pull the carb and have a look at the jet that is in there right now and see what sizes I will need.
I have gone about as far as I can go stock since I put the K&N filter on but now with an exhaust coming for it I know I'll need the jets. I dont know if the exhuast I bought will be any good or even fit for that matter but it is a xr200 JETSON exhaust. Here is the pic from the Fleabay auction I bought it from. it looks shiny if nothing else |

Nice looking pipe. Keep us posted as to whether it is a direct bolt on. If so I can put it in the parts thread.

Saw them. We need to know about the fit. Is it stamped USFS approved?

I'll give a report once I actually get it and put it on but I'm thinking the only two fitment problems might be the pipe size and the hanger bracket and the bracket can be remade.
Dont know if it's stamped USFS approved and from the excellent pics they posted of it I seen nothing, so that might be a small problem. They say it has a spark arrestor but dont say it is USFS approved. Quote:
Actually I just want to see if it could help wake this motor up a bit. |

I'm thinking with that high tech futuristic pipe installed I may just have to take it down to milan "dragstrip" and show some people whats what.
If its NOT USFS approved I'll have to find a spark arrestor for it I guess since the DNR does check people/vehicles out on the trails at times. |

I have a Loncin 200. I went from a 109 jet to a 116 and then to a 124. Every step gave noticable step up in power.
I use a conical sports filter . Exhausts are unmoddified. I think the jets on these bikes are undersized, probably to give better milage. |

Um well yeah I did get the pipe today and it does fit the bike but I'd have to recommend against it.
Didnt see any "USFS approved" stamp on it anywhere.(expected-not to worried) Worse than that the pipe they supply and the muffler doesn't fit very well at all.I had to get my die grinder out with some sandpaper and ream the inside of the muffler and file/sand the supplied pipe down to make it fit. The other end is a little big so I'm off to find some stuffing for that. Ok I do like that it is a straight shot thru the muffler (yes I can see right thru it) Lastly, even though I dont have it clamped/sealed tightly to the exhaust pipe yet I started it up and it sounds AWESOME.It just leaks a little around the exhuast pipe and they're supplied pipe clamp but I can fix that In fact the stock pipe has a gasket at the same spot but was not useable on the new pipe. |
