ATV only for street use
Hi to all. I am a very novice rider and i want to buy an ATV for street use only. In my country most of the ATV's can have a license plate and you have no problem driving an ATV on the street. In my country you can buy some chinese ATV's for street use only like this:
300CC Kawasaki EEC/COC CE Racing ATV CVT ENGINE 250cc water cooled ATV with EEC 14 inch wheels Does anyone have one of this? Are they any good or should i buy a used Japanese ATV and make street only. Maybe i can buy a Yamaha YFM 350 Raptor and make it like this with lower suspension and tires. Does anyone know if that is possible and how much would cost? Thanks. Sorry for my English. |

Welcome to the forum. Where are you from?
If I was looking for a Chinese ATV for on road use only I'd consider one of the reverse(Can Am style) trikes as I would expect them to be somewhat more stable and perhaps safer.

What country do you live in? How is the dealer support for Chinese vehicles? It really depends if you can get parts/service work easily and the price of atv vs a used Japanese machine.

I can buy this bikes with 2500-3000 euros new and i can find a 7-8 year old Yamaha YFM 350 Raptor about the same price, but i don't really know if the Yamaha can be customized like that.
