A new, British, 450cc adventure bike will be coming to the United States, probably in 2015. CCM is already establishing dealerships in Canada. Read more about this bike at the following link.

Very interesting bike, no doubt.
The fact that it is 450cc (vs. 400) puts it into sub-650 insurance category in my Province, which is XR650L territory. Even the Husky TR650 costs $2000 less. :(

It ain't cheap though. In its native UK it costs 8k GBP, i.e. more than Suzuki V-Strom 650 for example.

I read about that bike.
It seemed excellent but a lot of money. I still like the big Husky also.

Has CCM stopped making/rebadging their other models? Is this bike part of a new, revamped CCM? They had several models, including some Chinese dual-sports, available. I do like the idea that this will be their new flagship if they have started 'fresh.'

I agree; the CCM is way too expensive. I much prefer the Husky and the Japanese alternatives, which are much less expensive. However, it's always nice to see another bike enter the marketplace, especially a 450cc model.
