New Mower project.
1999 Exmark Lazer Z. 48" cut with a 19hp Kawasaki vtwin. I have google sourced the oil leak to the breather gasket under the flywheel. Parts ordered and should be here when I get back from Oklahoma this week. Also need a battery and two new rear tires. Best part is runs and mows for $250.
We cleaned it up at the car wash on Thursday night and I moved it inside the shop last night. Stuck a used battery in and put it on the charger. Hoping it is still good. $4 gasket is why the owner decided to sell it.

I ordered up some parts last night. Needed $35 to get free shipping so I bough oil filters, air filters, and some crank seals.
I believe that I will be getting some LED lighting. Our mower season has already started. I have the Dixon zero turn ready to go, but it gets dark early and it would be nice to mow until 9 before stopping.

Seems to me those tires would be terrible on a lawn!
I've been moving a month out here already. I have 1/2 acre and a little unpropelled push mower. I call it my workout for the day!

Doc, I will be replacing them with turf type tires. The PO mowed alot of hills and installed those for added traction.
Weld, the engine is a vertical twin. FH601V Kawasaki. OHV design. Has 391 hours on it. The Dixon has a FC580 that is a 17hp single. Ordered from here. http://www.propartsdirect.net/oemparts#

Most commercial engines like this will go 1500 or more hours easily. 4-5K hours is not unusual.
This thing is a baby. The dixon has 1500 hours on it. Second engine. Original was an old briggs. Not in the same league.

I am not sure what the displacement is. I wonder if the FH601v might mean it is a 601cc.
Hoping the parts I ordered will be in Monday. I am off and it is suppose to be rainy. Good day to work inside.

I will have to save that link. Looks like I need two quarts of oil. The 6.5hp clone engines are about 200cc.

I removed the flywheel this morning. Surprise to find it pretty clean under there. Looked again and some oil was on the frame and alittle running down the case from the governor shaft seal.
$1.50 part that I did not order. Pulled the whole engine so that I can get to it. Emilie will have clean up of the frame and the engine while its apart.
