I vote for the stock colour. Very tasteful, and that means no issues in the door jambs, under the hood or in the trunk.

I am almost always a stock color guy, but I remain partial to burnt orange for American Muscle. :P

i like all the colours listed! black is perhaps the most conventional. orange would give great visibility, camo would be even more fun to drive around in, but maybe send a wrong message? depends on the kind of camouflage pattern. silver or burgundy would look classy and offset the brute factor of the muscle car. oh what to do?

Black with a narrow orange rallye stripe along the lower third of the body on both sides.

Black looks awesome, but scratches so easily and swirls and dust.... Hard to keep looking perfect.

Is the coupe a Silver Arrow? Can you post a photograph of the automobile?

Thumbs Up

spudrider, it s not a silver arrow, but the colour of the silver mercs is classy. it is the coupe mentioned in the "tree fell on trunk" thread:

black with an orange stripe would look very distinctive. but black may not be ideal in a hot country. my main concern is that here in qld reddish dust settles on your automobile and you d have to wash it every day to keep it looking neat.

as far as stock goes, most of the colours mentioned (except camo and silver) are available as factory colours, so there s no problem with originality.

Thanks for reminding me, Zongshoen. Given the hot climate and the reddish dust, I would now switch my vote from burgundy (which looks great) to orange.
