New roketa DB-07

Hi im new to motorcycles, but have been riding atvs for about 8 years now. I just ordered a roketa DB-07 from xxx-motorsports for $1000 shipped. I just wanted to introduce myself and ask if any one has had any common problems with this bike that i can fix from the getgo. Also do you have to take your bike to the DMV to register it or can you just take it to a tags/notary shop and get it titled there?

Thanks

There is a few on here in PA. Check the registration issues forum for more info. I think most have gotton a title there. Depends on how much the seller wants to work with you and where you go for the registration.

Newbie,

Welcome to China riders... Hopefully by now you have found the DS bike prep thread. This is very helpful in avoiding problems..

My worst experience before I found this site was going down a trail noticing I didnt have any braking power on my front brakes.. Looking down and seeing the front brake caliper flopping around. I hadnt noticed it was loose when I first put the bike together. So I suggest removing the caliper mounting bolts and loctite them and tighten them before riding.

Best of Luck

loctite every bolt besides the motor, CHANGE THE OIL before you start it!!! then after your first 50-100 miles change it again!

Check your spokes for tightness, check to make sure your caliper is not loose... (it will put you on your face if it starts to fall off.. not to mention destroy your spokes....)

ask any questions you may have....

oh yea, adjust your headlight!!!

Good luck man, good to see a new person nearby maryland!

what part of PA are you in?
