And I will add, this is all in regards to stock form. If your going to buy a bike, to mod as much as for example you megadan, I would probably start with the hawk. If you want a bike that is more ready to ride, on the road, right out of the box, I'd say get a Brozz. Not saying either can't do (or be) what the other can, just better suited from the start.

Not a deal breaker, but one of the annoyances I had with the hawk, but not even a thought on the Brozz. (Not odd, I believe I commented on this when I 1st assembled and posted about the bike)

Suspension on my Brozz overall feels much better than my hawk.

Swingarm, the welds may be questionable to some, on some, but to me, it's a far superior design. I found adjusting the chain on the hawk to never be a thing of confidence. The swingarm on my hawk always stood out as one of the cheapest elements.

It's not a slight against the hawk, great bike. But the Brozz is better overall.

I'd buy either again in a heartbeat, but if you are willing to spend the money, the Brozz buys imo a lot more.

Even little things add up to make a big difference. Like the tubes and chain mentioned prior. Another thing that is much better, is the airbox and how the tubes are sealed. On my Brozz, much cleaner with nothing to address. My Hawks was another story.

I find the seat cover to be of nicer quality as well, minus the silly stitching.

Overall, the Brozz is a very smooth bike, at idle or going 55mph down the road. None of the vibrations and buzzes that my hawk had. Some of that's engine, some of it's tires, etc. But my hawk was quite "buzzy", to the point where I would avoid a certain rpm. This was present with both sets of tires I had, and different front sprockets. Again, not a deal breaker, and only my experience, but a difference.

All of this is my opinion from owning both. It's nothing to take offense to. It all is what you are willing to pay for. Many of us could go buy a Japanese bike tomorrow, but simply don't find it being worth it, same argument goes for A China bike vs B China bike.
I think some of that can be down to a bike to bike basis. I haven't had many of the problems you have had, although I do agree that the wiring behind the headlight on the Hawk is... messy. I have never had the rattling shroud problem on either of my Hawks though, that is a weird one.

Tubes I do agree with. The Hawk tubes are pathetic, but tubes are cheap so I don't tend to consider them when comparing bikes. It would be nice if they were a bit better though, so I agree. The chain I also can't argue with, but again, a standard quality chain is cheap.

The Hawk suspension suffers from the decision to use dual rate springs with almost no preload. Any full sized American male will easily compress the suspension most of the way thanks to the very soft initial spring rate. A pair of cheap spacers and some fork oil/atf to proper levels and the problem is solved.

I never minded the buzz of the non-balanced engine, but I can understand how some wouldn't like it much.

I can see how feeling like you have to upgrade a bunch of parts as a downside. To me it isn't, but I also forget many people don't have my skill set or desire to work on things. I actually get some enjoyment from it.

I agree 100% there. The Hawk is more like a Kit bike lol

I use to be the same way. Now with 4 kids, work, 60 farm animals, and too many other hobbies, I don't have as much time. I use to have a serious obsession with old Honda 3 wheelers and xr200s (shared about everything engine wise). I probably have owned 35/40 of them. That's ironically what led me to Chinese bikes many years ago (started with the pepboys Baja/panterra line). Putting Chinese motors from eBay on 200x, atc200s, atc185s, and the atc70s were a lot of fun. A manual clutch 125cc Chinese engine, on an atc70s, is about the most fun I've had on wheels.

I think the biggest issue with the hawk 250 among other chinese motorcycle is that they must be assamble by the owner. Which is a HUGE deal, while everyone may be able to put it together, that doesn't mean they did it in the right way..

Also a big belief of mine. I used to help uncrate new bikes when I worked in a shop and wasn't busy doing mechanical work. I think people assembling these bikes would be surprised how much work goes into those big boy bikes after they are uncrated too. It can take two guys a couple of hours to go over the whole checklist and change or add any fluids the manufacturer states to change upon assembly. They also usually come even more assembled than the Hawk does. That is why my Hawk assembly takes upwards of 6-8 hours while other guys have done it in 2-3. The devil is in the details, and there are a lot of details.

Some lettering changes on the 2019. Haven't gotten a red one together yet for a picture but you get the idea...

This is the only mechanical change is shown right here. We tilted the exhaust angle down for those who like screaming at 8000 rpm down the highway. We had a few customers who rode like this and would melt that right turn signal. Should never be a problem again(for those who keep a stock exhaust).

Never noticed but yeah your right. The exhaust was pointed directly at the turn signal. Even with the Ebay exhaust you have to be careful that it doesn't point at the rear fender.

Just a heads up for those on the fence. The Brozz we have listed for sale will be the best deal for the buyer for a while. The 2020 units will have an increased tariff.

Expect to see a $1900 online price in the spring for the 2020 VIN numbers.
