I doubt they will honor that price, unless they are adding enormous shipping charges. I think they might also say they made a typographical error. However, I would call them. If they honor that price, and shipping is reasonable, you should buy the bike.

I haven't been following these motorcycles, but that bike looks decent. It has USD forks, a luggage rack, and disc brakes on both wheels. However, it does have a 17-inch rear tire, and a 19-inch front tire. Most dual sport bikes have an 18-inch rear tire, and a 21-inch front tire. I don't know anything about the vendor.

Having said that, I live a little less than 2hrs from them. If they honor that price for a local pickup I might grab one tomorrow.

$500.00 for shipping is crazy but it still comes out to a decent final price.

mjstef, the first bike you linked to would be ideal for someone under about 5'10". In addition to all of the other nice features, it has handguards.
You're correct on the finned portion in front of the bottom end being the counter-balance.

I just talked to Scott there. Knowledgeable and seemed to be zero BS.
He says that Power Sports Hub = Killer Motorsports. The PSH side was a test to see if people responded to the same price if it was bundled or price + shipping. Either way the price is the same. Note: if you decline the "free" helmet the price drops by $20. Local pickup is not available; it's all dropshipped. This would be great for folks across the nation who need shipping but there's no killer deal on local pickup. Having said that, I am super suspicious of all salescritters but Scott sounds like the kind of guy I would like doing business with.

I've been out of the CB scene for a year or so and now am doing some research on it again. The SSR's have gone up SHOCKINGLY in price since they were Qlink. I'm glad I picked up my QLink XP 200 when I did for 1700.00. I can't justify doubling the price for basically the same bike. I was pondering looking at an SSR for the Mrs. because of the smaller wheel size but at 3300+, OTD at my local dealer, there's no way.
The Qlink/SSR's (Suzuki clones) are the cream of the China Crop, but the Hondanoids are looking FAR better than they used to....especially for the $$$! Spud, the bikes you showed at the beginning of the thread appear much better built than my old GY2!

I think you are correct on both points, 2LZ. The SSR bikes are seriously overpriced, and the generic, Chinese, dual sport bikes have improved significantly.
