Swingarm bolt for Dualsport/Enduro bikes?

I may have a source for the swingarm bolt on the Viva, Lifan, & Roketa dualsport bikes. Is anyone interested in buying one of these for their motorcycle? It looks like I will need to purchase a box of 100. They will probably be zinc coated and Grade 8. I do not want to make any money on these and I will only charge the minimum needed to get my extra cost out of them plus shipping to you. I will post the specs tomorrow and a price. I will not hold anyone to this, if you change your mind that's ok. I'm going to try to get nylock nuts to go with them.

Is anyone interested? I need a head count!

Have you tried Jetmoto for the Swingarm Bolt, it's the same as the ones on the Roketa and Shineray, i'm pretty sure it would fit and they do have them in stock.

Hey Sam, I might be, if the price is right. I'll feel a lot safer with a better bolt. Thanks!

advt,
My stock swingarm bolt is fine. I just don't trust these bolts in the off-highway area that I live in. That bolt will not last very long in my bike. Pumpkin and some others here have had some issues with the stock bolts. Someone here already had a swingarm bolt fail. I'd rather source out a better quality Grade 8 bolt and replace the stock swingarm bolt with something like that. Trading one chinese bolt for another, isn't something I want to do.

Everyone else,
Ok that's 1, 2... , 3... ! That's far from 100! My stock swingarm bolt is: 12mmX215mm. Check your's and I'll post what I find out here tomorrow.

As I said, the price will be my cost plus shipping to you! I will not be making money off these. This is for you!

mine has been ok and i jump mine all the time and off road going 30 mph most of the time. so far so good but i'm always looking to upgrade. i would thin that we could just find a bolt from another bike or a bigger scooter. i bet my old riva 180 swing arm bolt would have fit. damn shame i don't have any more laying around.

na it wouldn't really be all that bad. one side would just drop down a little bit. i had one back out on a scooter. i definatly noticed it when it happened. i just puched it back in and drove home with no nut on it.

Well, I found out this morning that I don't have to buy 100 of the bolts. That's a good thing. My plan was to just take orders and do it that way. I got a call this afternoon and it looks like they can't get a 12mmX220mm long bolt. They can get them around 170mm but that's way too short. It looks like the deal is probably off!

I apologize and if anything changes, I'll get back with you guys. The bolts were going to be purchased through Fastenal. Today, I was able to find some of the other bolts for the bike through the NAPA Truck Center & Contractors Supply Center. Fastenal told me the swingarm bolt will probably need to be custom made at a machine shop. Believe it or not, I don't want to put that much money into it.

Again, I apologize for getting your hopes up!

Sam I'm new and I'm Canadian, so you can slap me if I'm wrong. I'll still apologize.

Wouldn't a fastner place like Brofasco have a bolt we could use?

If you did get 100 bolts, the one I need is probably slightly different. I don't know anyone with a Xingyue 150cc DS, and I'd like to replace china parts with Japanese or American. I bought at a brick and mortor store so I can get parts in a month or two, but I won't want to wait and I want superior parts. There has to be companies in the State that makes quality fastners, cheap. :?
