Hello ChinaRiders!

I wanted to say Hi, and thank you to everyone here at ChinaRiders. I bought

my 2006 Qlink X-Ranger 200 in the summer of 2009 with the help of this

site. It came with the dual purpose tires not mounted with inner tubes, and

only had 61 miles on the odo. The bike was in brand new condition, and it

turns out it was originally purchased from a dealer new in 2007 in the same

town I live in for $1,850. The original owner never had it titled or registered

and then decided to part ways with it at a pawnshop a few miles from where

I live. So I paid $1,200 and took it home. Not a bad price considering I

didn't have to pay for shipping, and what came with it. I live in Northwest

Arkansas, and there are a few good places to ride trails not far from

where I live. I now have 1007 miles on the bike and have decided to

take it apart for several mods I am going to do. I am an over the road

truck driver so I am only on the internet infrequently while I am working.

After doing some of the mods I've seen on this site to this bike, I can

honestly say that it only gets much better and much more fun! Thanks

again, and good riding to all!

I believe that's the Q version of the Zongshen Sierra. I want one bad. Good score.

Welcome! Spudrider is the master of Zong mods.

Dual sport rear tires in 15" are rarer than hen's teeth.

Welcome to these forums, Pawnrider. Also, welcome to the Cult of The Zong! You have been assimilated, and we are very pleased to have you join the Zong Collective. If you have time, please do post photos of your X-Ranger! We love photos, and we would love to see your modifications.

P.S. If fellow Zongites wish to buy his Chinese, dual sport tires, Pawnrider is offering them for sale in our For Sale Forum.

Thank you, Weldangrind, FastDoc, and SpudRider! Nice to meet you

gentlemen on these forums! This is actually the first forum online that I

have been a participant on it's really pretty fun, but I'm still learning how

to use computers so I apologize for being a bit slow. So far I have the 13t

countershaft sprocket (not installed), stainless exhaust header with fmf

turbinecore2 silencer, polisport front fender, drc edge2 tailight with led

turn signals and electronic flasher. Right now the Zong is stripped down

with the gas tank removed as I am getting ready to do more mods to it

over the winter season, and unfortunately I don't have any pics of it b4

beginning to take it apart. Hopefully gathering parts will go well in time for

next riding season.
