16 tooth front sprocket Qlink XF200/XP200 question
Is there sufficient chain length on a new 2009 Qlink XF200 to install the 16 tooth front sprocket?
Thanks |

As I recall I installed a 4 tooth smaller rear sprocket with the 16 tooth front sprocket and did not need to alter the chain.
I'd go that route if you want to gear your Q as high as practical. I got my parts from JP Motorsports in San Diego. I think you could add a tooth to the front and use the stock chain with no other changes, but I'm not sure.

FastDoc,
Thanks. Rain is about over here so maybe I can get a ride in. Nasty weather came in last night. |

Bar, I installed a 16T in the front and 44T in the rear and had no trouble with the chain.

I'm just planning on doing the 16 now or waiting until the chain wears enough to fit. Thanks |

Me and 2 other guys with Konker KMS 200 ( Qlink XF200 ) all did ours the same week with the 16T front sprocket. There was enougth length in the stock chain. My bike was around 150miles on the odo. There was only a few hundred miles higher. They also changed out the main jet in the carb from 122.5 to 125 , pilot jet to 35 We notice the response improved.

Did the 16 tooth swap today and am not looking for a 6th gear anymore. Nice and might try the smaller rear after break in.
