Hello from NJ GY 200 Rider
Got a GY 200 almost a month ago. Like the motorcycle alot I ride it mostly on dirt roads and trails.

Being from Jersey, having left 24 years ago, I'm interested in where you can ride off road there. Stockton State Forest? The Pine Barrens? Somewhere in the northwestern tip? When I'd left Jersey was for the most part, paved.

Thanks for the welcome everyone. Yes it is the pine barrens that I ride in and I will do my best to post some pics of rides from the pine barrens.

It looks like yours came with a skid plate as well.

My identical HSUN had a skid plate too. It was made of sliced American cheese covered in aluminum foil.

Yup I am glad you guys brought that to my attention. There is room for a off road upgrade from the stock skid plate. I really looked it over good this morning and it is on the flexiable side for off road. This GY 200 is not a light weight dual sport and pounding on the stock skid plate looks like a reciepe for something to give. It does have a great stock clearance and bites well getting over stuff. But I will be keeping an eye on what it goes over until I have the extra funds for an upgrade. Thanks again for the heads up on the skid plate.

nice bike, i have the 125 version-ish same engine v .simular frame as well..
Like you love off roading. what ya learn in in 1 day is equal like a week on the tarmac. Done a whole year on a 125 9K miles . Not on a 4t tho, a 2T. lol mind u i was rebuilding it quite often. am in the SW of the UK. get some more pix up!.. |
