Spud if anyone can make it work I know you can. They need you to put Zongshen on the map(US map)!!!
I'm still trying to decide which way to go with the 18" tire, I will get back with you as soon as I'm sure. Thanks, Alan

$75 is too much to pay for a used Zongshen stator. A new stator, and pickup coil, should only cost that much, or less, if you order it from Zongshen America. Has your stator failed, or are you ordering the part as a spare? If you can’t ride, send me a personal message, and I will see what I can do to help.

The Zongshen 200GY-2 stator is different from the generic, Chinese, Hondoid motorcycle stator. Have you found Zongshen 200GY-2 stators on eBay?

If I became a Zongshen parts dealer, I would not stock any Zongshen parts. I know I would not make much money selling Zongshen parts, so I would not want to invest in an inventory. As a parts dealer, I would act as an intermediary between customers, and Zongshen America. I would help the members of these forums to find the correct parts, and the correct part numbers, and I would act as a dealer contact with Zongshen America. Hopefully, my dealer status would get me preferential treatment, and forum members would get their parts more quickly.

However, I would also undoubtedly need to deal with delays from Miami, and the resulting, dissatisfied customers. I know the late, beloved Brother Phil Hall had these problems. Therefore, I am reluctant to take on the job, since the profits would be small; I would be selling the parts at wholesale cost to the members of these forums.

Snipped some...
Having someone to give me advice on parts would be a big draw to purchasing that make (Zong).
The support you "don't" get from local dealers is :?
If it's not in the catalog, they don't know if it fits...
And if it is, they won't have it in stock...
Just my experience...

Tried "stator,200cc" and got results, but those listed won't fit the Zongshen Sierra 200GY-2.

TW200 stators look like they'll fit, and should, but are like 150 bucks.

Anyone know of a fairly reputable dealer in or near Washington state?

I've decided I will become a Zongshen parts dealer. I don't enjoy seeing forum members such as Bones33 being unable to ride their Zongs.

As I said earlier, I do not plan to keep an inventory of Zongshen parts. My business is strictly a part-time operation, since I don't expect to make much money selling Zongshen parts. Therefore, I will order the parts from Zongshen America, and have them shipped directly to the buyer.

I plan to sell Zongshen parts at the wholesale price, established by Zongshen America, to all members of these forums. I will be contacting Manny next week to order some parts. If anyone wishes to place an order for Zongshen parts, please send me a personal message.

I will give this business a try for a few months, and we will see how things work out. I will do my best to get your parts as quickly as I can, but I can't control the operations of either Zongshen America, or Zongshen International.

I wish to thank everyone for his input, and his kind support. I have decided to become a Zongshen parts dealer, and I have delivered parts to one customer. Therefore, I have updated my signature to reflect my dealer status. If you, or anyone you know, needs Zongshen parts, please send me a personal message via this website.

Thank you, Doc. If enough people want a Zongshen Sierra 200GY-2, I was told I can get a container shipped to the United States, and I would be happy to sell them. I am currently offering suggestions to improve the current Zong, e.g. conventional wheel sizes, and I am encouraging its continued importation into the United States, along with the 150cc Zongshen Fly, et cetera.
