I am moving to a city about an 1.5 hours east of portland... I see on the forums the Q's are a lot more pricey. Does your friend have a website? what are his prices like? In the $1000 range... cause thats what im going to pay for the zong.
You moving to the dalles? I've got a lifan 200 gy,Great bike have about 8000 miles on it still going great, did the jet and air filter to a uni filter, and putting amsoil in it.I'm not far from you i could come by and show it to if you like. The zongshan sierra is also a seemily reliable motorcycle and pretty neat looking also.Good to have you here, hunter

Dont worry I know a 200cc isnt a highway bike... Ill probably ride back roads everywhere. What is the top speed for a zong... probably comfortably 45-50mph im guessing? My bike now does 45-50 but thats about as far as I push it cause it sounds like its workin hard at that speed... probably could do some little things to get more speed out of him but why? If I wanted to drive on the highway id get a bigger cc engine. I like back roads... less traffic.
That bike is the same as the viva I bought a while back. It is mostly for dirt unless you regear it.I have lots of parts if you need any
Ill try to find a pic of me on my bike and post it later today 8)

well, I am now bike-less I drove it down to phoenix on saturday. The guy was stoked to have the bike... which made it a little less hard to part with.
I loved my bike... after a sufficent mourning period I will buy another

Whatever you buy, Chinese or otherwise we would want you to stick around here with us!

Bummer about the sale, but it's good your bike went to someone who will use and appreciate it. Your next bike will be great, but you never forget your first....

I'm sorry about the loss of your bike; I would miss my Zong terribly! :( However, now you have one less bulky item to transport to Oregon. You will enjoy your new bike all the more, once you get settling into your new home.
