adjusting needle on carb
I pulled the spark plug and it was white so i am in the process of taking off the carb and adjusting the needle.Do you have to take off the gas tank and do you drain the gas before you do it? Also where does the black wire go that i believe is the ground i pulled the battery and didn't see where it came off of part of the wire is uder the seat where it is already grounded but i am talking about the second connector.Make any sense? thanks

Black wires are ignition controled, green is earth (ground).

Hunter, you will more then likely need to pull the tank. Not a big job to do. You do not need to drain the carb to move the needle. Be advised that moving the needle only changes the fuel air mixture for low to mid throttle. Full throttle will not be effected. If you still have a lean condition you'll need a bigger main jet.
