That oil information was pretty interesting. Its got me rethinking which oils I use in all my vehicles. I took some pictures of the lianfei today. I'll post them in my gallery once my registration is all set up. I couldn't resist going for another ride today even though its 31 degrees outside. I couldn't believe that the motor started and stayed running on the very first crank! Has anyone had problems with clutch and brake lever perch breakage? I noticed both of mine are cracked. I was thinking of buying a sturdier forged steel aftermarket clutch perch. The brake perch is part of the master cylinder, so I guess that would have to be a factory part.

newbee wuth new bike.
Welcome MintFord and congrats On Getting her Running!!! Well, this sure is the place to get help with your new ride! I can't quite remember how I found it, but my bike is running top notch because of this site!!! Today,Valentine's Day,I plan on giving my bike a new heart,a 30 mm MIKUNI CARB, with MOTION PRO FUEL LINE, STAINLESS SCREW DRIVE HOSE CLAMPS FROM GERMANY, AND A NEW INLINE FRAM G-4164 SEE THRU FUEL FILTER!!! I will cable tie the filter to the frame, and run a little x-tra line to keep it kink free. We all like cheep, but do not try to skrimp on fuel line or spark plugs or cheap gas and oil! Soon, with help from the site's gurus, you will have the confidence and knowledge to have a high mileage, dependable running bike! GOOD LUCK! SINCERELY,RICK SAVIDGE.
