UNFORTUNATELY I HAVENT RIDDEN VERY MUCH IN THE LAST COUPLE OF MONTHS I HAVE CLOSE TO 6,000 MILES IF IM NOT MISTAKEN.

THE BIKE IS RUNNING PRETTY GOOD BUT I NOTICED THE VALVE STEM WASNT FLUSH WITH THE ROCKER ARM TAPPET THE LAST TIME I ADJUSTED THE VALVES. I DONT KNOW IF THIS WILL BE A PROBLEM OR NOT.
THE BIKE RUNS FINE BUT I GUESS THE VALVES ARE SEATED TO DEEPLY IN THE HEAD. OTHER THAN THAT ITS REALLY GOOD I NEED TO GET ME A GOOD RIDING SUIT I TEND TO BE A CHICKEN WHEN IT COMES TO RIDING TO WORK IN THE LOW 40,S. IT MAY BE THE INCREASED HUMIDITY HERE IN THE SOUTH BUT IT GETS COLD.

IM SURE ITS NOTHING COMPARED TO YOUR TEMPERATURES THOUGH.

THANKS SHAWN

I am considering using some 1"-wide pin stripe decal tape to add some orange color to my Clarke fuel tank.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT

This decal tape is inexpensive ($13 for ten meters), and easy to apply. As my retouched photographs show, I would only be adding three stripes to each side of my fuel tank. I don't see any harm in trying this decal tape; however, I might be wrong. Does anyone know of any possible downsides I have not considered? :?:

Well, I guess no one thinks I will damage the Clarke fuel tank, or leave a sticky residue from the decal adhesive. Does anyone have any additional advice for me to consider? Once again, I thank you for all your constructive input.

I really like the black the way it is. I wouldn't hesistate in putting decals on side panels, but not on a plastic gas tank.

I like pin stripes, but only hand painted old-school hot rod style (a la Von Dutch).

My $0.02

something to keep in mind is regardless of what you do anything on the tank will blister and come off as the plastic tank breathes.

Do they sell an orange reflective tape? Make it look snazzy and safer also.

found some similar ones in ebay, search flame decals.

http://cgi.ebay.com/FLAMES-vinyl-dec...item3a56947429

The flames would probably be easiest to make using a stencil and some orange spray paint. cereal box card board makes great stencils

I wonder if you like what went on the Qlink Ranger except changing the black stripes to Zog orange.

Spud liked the design you did with ms paint in your first post.
Nice,simple and unclutered looking.
You should try and atempt that with the decal tape.
I have a bright zong orange gy(lifanoid) that i was going to decal up with ktm graphics then remembered how embarising it mite be if a real ktm pulls up lol  .
Not been on here for a few months so its the first time ive seen the zong after all the mods.
Looks awesome

maybe you can find a good looking aftermarket graphics kit from a good m/c bike site. i purchased a set for a ktm from ktm store about 6 years ago and they still look pretty good. the tank stickers are perforated to let out gases.
