Hello from beautiful Vancouver!!

Just bought a used Chinese made bike. Don't know what type but it's a 250cc 4-stroker. Pictures will be soon Kinda looks skinny next to the Harley but I can't wait to change the oil, pop in a new plug & go trailing soon.
I've always wanted a dirt bike but my parents couldn't afford to get me one. Now, at 38, I'm re-living my youth!
Take care & ride safe everyone!
Paul

Haha! Good stuff! I'm sure you'll love riding and wrenching on it. Similar story to me.. always wanted one, parents could never afford! So, at 34, talked my wife into 'allowing' me to buy one. (Yamaha YZ250F) and haven't looked back. They are such a blast.

I now own three china quads to accompany the YZ, and we all have a great time on them.

Welcome to the forums and the world of China bikes!

We're definetely on track for a BC ChinaRiders Meet and Ride soon..

-TT

Welcome fellow BC member! I agree with TurboT; we should plan to get together as a group and go riding in 2010.

WELCOME - fellow vancouverite.

I bet it's an aircooled 250cc with an exterior perimeter frame, made by either Apollo, or Xingyue, electric start with 16" / 19" wheels. Either way i have parts for it should you need any!

Newbie

Hi from Langley. I, too, just got a "new" quad. 250cc liquid-cooled. I have no clue how old or what model. It needs some work as the carb floods , lights are all burnt out and choke lever is broken off. I've heard over the years these knock-offs are always in need of tinkering but it's right up my alley so here I am. Is there somewhere on these bikes to I.D. them ?

There could be tags on it somewhere stating information, it's hard to say really... The atv I had was tagged with a vin number and the manufacturer information.
