A road model of ASIAWING, the Spark 500, is meant to be imported by Roketa in the US. Maybe they intend to bring in the dirt version. See link:

It would help to get more replies if we knew where you are in the world. Put it into the profile details.

I spoke with some one in China about this bike. They told me they have every intention of importing it to the US but they are waiting on EPA approval so they will clear customs, the lady told me that the main hold up was CARB (Cali). I also asked about becoming a dealer if no one was going to stock them, the lady said that there was a list of dealers that had requested them but she did not have the list on hand.

I also asked if the specs were a misprint and was actually HP instead of KW and she said that KW was the correct measure and gave me a hp number very close to my calculation.

Another thing that she pointed out was that the engine needed to rev pretty high to make power like a 2 stroke and that it did not have the low end pull of most 4 strokes.

The money it would take to buy a Chinese 400/450 would easily get you on a lightly used DRZ 400.

The Suzuki is lighter, faster, has 40+hp, has a huge aftermarket, is suspended better and is all around going to be a much higher quality/more enjoyable bike.

As long as Chinese bikes stay in the $1000 range they are worthwhile, but when the price point gets into the $2500/$3000 range.... not so much. There are too many really good Japanese bikes on the market at those prices.

If you value your sanity, do not buy anything from Roketa, thats why you will never see our bikes on their site, we value our reputation.

Good luck to you.
