greetings from queensland

hello everyone,

always liked small bikes, here in australia many guys seem to think they are just for learners, but that s just them. i had mopeds (garelli, sachs), scooters (vespa) and in 2001 got a 1980 honda xl 185 s, which i ve restored part by part (the bike was always registered and on the road). then about 18 months ago i bought a zongshen 200 with a 16/18 wheel combo and haven t looked back. i had a header pipe made up and got a chinese racing muffler, replaced the airfilter with a podfilter and rejetted. now the bike is real fun to ride.

in queensland we can ride all year, we get cold mornings in winter, but it rarely is less than 20 degrees in the day.

zingshoen is a pun on the german "sing schoen" ie "sing beautifully", coz my bike sounds so good.

Welcome. We don't seem to have many Australians.

Welcome!

The Zongshen Sierra 200GY-2 sold in the United States of America has a 15-inch rear wheel. Do you have a Sierra 200 motorcycle? If the rear wheel is 16-inches, can you post a photograph of it? Thank you.

Welcome to the madness! Good to hear that your bike can "sing beautifully".
