ZS LZX200GY neutral gear light stays on

ZS LZX200GY: the neutral gear light stays on, whether i m in gear or not, it comes on a soon as i turn the key to the ignition position.

bit of history: this started not long after i removed the killswitch from the sidestand, so that the bike can start and warm up w/out rider. so perhaps i unwiggled a connection. but i haven t been able to fix this. has anybody had this problem?

Odd, The bike should only require the clutch to be in or the engine in neutral for the bike to start with the stand down....Either way hook it back up and see if the problem goes away. How many wires did it have?

the stand, when out, would activate a switch. i think this is standard now, at least in europe and australia.
anyway i removed it and bridged at the connector, so it s just one cable.

the clutch cutoff never worked anyway.
