I Have A Lighting Problem...

For some reason the current going to my lights on my lf200gy5 is only 5. something volts instead of the 12 need to run the light what could be the problem i dont really know any thing about eletricty

your light might be AC instead of DC.

I concur.
I had the same "problem". Many a headache trying to figre that out.
Changed the headlight over to switched DC power using a CuLayer rectifier. Later changed to an H-4 bulb.
