Lifan LF100GY trans problem
hi guys. I have a Lifan LF100GY dirt bike and I'm having a problem with 3rd gear. When I shift it into 3rd it seems to pop in and out of gear until I either shift it into 4th or back into second. I've been told that I may have a bent shifter fork. Is it possible to bend this back? I bought this bike used and have basically brought it back from the grave and this is the only remaining issue. I really enjoy riding it and I'd just love to have 3rd gear!

I bought my son one of these bikes. He has had it now for two years and loves it. His bike also pops out of gear, but his is 1st gear. We have never been able to fox it, it is geared so low, he just goes strait to 2nd.

Maybe. Sometimes the material they are made from becomes brittle after being bent so the risk of it breaking completely is high.
Also you are talking a completely tear down to fix it. Allen
