http://www.chinariders.net/gallery2/...g2_itemId=3144 !!!! More to come tomorrow. The weather wasn't nice today so I didn't take any. I have it put together now except I want to loctite everything now that I know I have it together right.

I changed the oil, filled the gas, let it sit for a while to settle any debris in the tank and then drained about a cup out of the fuel line. She started up fine and ran great. It wouldn't idle at first but it did fine after it warmed up. I'm sure it will take some adjustment, but it runs and that's the important part!

One thing I am having trouble with is the front break caliper. It is pressurized, making it impossible to mount onto the break disk. I had to take the caliper off to get the wheel in place. Does anyone know how I relax the break pads?

Try holding the brake lever in while you crack open the bleeder valve on the caliper. That should release the pressure....also make sure the reservoir is not overfilled.

I got it. It was just because I had squeezed the break before mounting the caliper. I just slid a putty knife in between the pads and slowly bushed the piston back into the caliper enough to get it on the disk.

BUUT, more excitingly, I finnished loctiting everything and took it for a spin. It was awesome. I've actually only road a dirtbike for about 30 minutes total in my entire life, and I'm tiny (5', 100lbs) so I'm not quite comfortable with "tearing it up," so to speak, in the mud but I did ride it around my property a good bit. Yesterday we got torrential rains so it was really slick and you could feel it slipping around on the slightest turn.

I can't wait for tomorrow!

Hell yeah. I'm getting my girlfriends old helmet tomorrow, waiting on my MSO still and planning to start my moding out with adding a trunk.

I'm going to cut some of the steel that it came packed in to make a sort of mounting bracket to attach a big ammo box to the rack.

I see from your pictures that your bike doesn't have the inverted forks, & the rear footpegs are different that mine. What year is stamped on your steering stem?

Ha. Yeah right. I may live in the south, but I'm far from the shotgun totin', beer drinkin', deer blastin', wife beatin', Dale Earnhardt Jr. Worshipin' regulars . I'm just a traveler, and I expect to go on trips with this bike, so I need some cargo space.

And Madmaximum, I'll check it next time I go outside to be sure, but I'm guessing you have the DB-07A. This is just the DB-07.

Ha! Cumming is my hood. I love about 20 miles North in Dahlonega, but all my friends are in Cumming and that's where I spend most of my time.
