Lifan vs SunL

Iwas thinking of ordering a Lifan 200cc dualsport but a local dealer sells a SunL 200cc bike cheaper and he has parts on hand and offers a warranty . Are SunL as good as Lifan ?

Since you have a dealer, with parts, I would go with the SunL--Lifan doesn't have the best reputation in the US

i would look more at the dealer than the bike i would have to give the lifan a better quality but if the dealer is good that most important

I haven't had any experience with SunL, but I've owned 2 Lifan's, and had others I know own Lifans, with no major issues.

I can't recall reading very much on here that was positive about SunL...I do recall plenty that wasn't.

I have a SUNL/HSUN and it I delivered pizzas on it in summer and fall and put over 3000 miles on it in 2 months and it is still running great after 6 months of hard wear and tear.

The fact that it's a bit cheaper than the Lifan should be a small indication that it's not quite on par for quality, but as others have mentioned....having a dealer w/ parts close by can be worth a lot....IF you have problems.

And that's the real unknown. Any bike can be a lemon. Most of the life expectancy of a bike is in it's care/neglect and use/abuse. But, sometimes stuff happens. When stuff happens, you'll probably want a dealer near-by. If stuff never happens...well, just be happy.

Best of luck with the decision. Let us know what/when/how it goes....and PLEASE post pictures!
We love pictures!
