Taillight help
Could anyone tell me where the tail light connects into the main wiring harness. I tried tracing it back, and it seems as though it is in the main bundle of wires inside the headlight. Is this correct?

you have to take off the top of the rear mudguard and the connector block is there
well that is on mine anyway

I already checked all the connections there, and they seem to be fine, the brake light works, just not the running tail light

you need a volt meter then to test the connector block to see if there is a live when you turn the lights on
if that does not work then you will have to bridge a wire from the headlight wire down to the rear of the bike

Did you check this connector under the seat?
The brown is the tail lamp lead, and the Yellow/Green is the brake lamp lead. The green is the chassis ground! First do as mentioned by warrior91, and JUST REPLACE the dual filament bulb, because it is quick and easy, and broken firmaments can be elusive to find because they can contact intermittently. Also check the connections in the lamp socket for corrosion, poor workmanship, poor fitment, etc. Hope this helps. Keep us posted, Tigertamer

Try the bulb first.

Okay. I would trace the wire and check all connections. The pin sometimes come loose in them.
