New Georgia Rider

Just joined and I'm glad to know there are others experiencing the joys and headaches associated with Chinabikes. Frankly, I've had very few headaches. In fact, I can say I've already gotten my money's worth out of the three Chinabikes I've purchased over the past year. I ride a Shineray Allroad XY200Gi dualsport bike (~60 mph max so far), and my two boys (10 and 14) ride Baja DR70 dirt bikes (made by Hemsim), although my 14-yo is needing more seat height... i think another Chinabike is needed. These three bikes, plus a trailer, rigging, hitch, and all the requisite safety gear and liability insurance, put me back about $5,000. That's alot of stuff for the money. I'm pretty pleased so far.

We've only really ridden at Rock Creek/Tatum Lead Trails near Chatsworth, Georgia, in a U.S. Forest. Vertical, rocky, and muddy when we went... but great fun. I've also set up my backyard for dirt riding (dubbed "Stump Ranch MotoPark"). I live in Cobb County, Georgia, just outside of Atlanta. I only have about 1/3 acre to devote to it -- nothing elaborate -- but it is a good training/practice area for novices and youngsters.

Good to see ya, phlash.

You got all that for 1/2 of what I paid for my sportster

Have the rangers ever looked at your bike?

Don't forget the tool bag,

Rangers

I have yet to see a Ranger, but Georgia seems pretty lenient about off-road vehicles (though I'm not worried about them checking my bike -- it looks like a contemporary Honda 230, red and all -- and it meets emission requirements in all US states).

Hey, liverchip, what dp you think are the differences, if any, between your Shineray 200 and my 2007 Shineray XY200G ?

Incidentally, it was originally labeled as an Allroad - which i've removed from tank, replacing with home-made clear laser-printed stickers with downloaded logos, quasi-vertically placed at leading edge of tank cover, and i have painted with silver the lettering on engine where is says Allroad... just haven't redone the seat yet... I want it branded as what it IS... a Shineray.

Can we get some pics, please?

Good job,
