You DO know these aren't motocross bikes, right??
I know  , but I'll be short of money for some time so I'll have to adjust. I think it would be really mediocre of me to quit this sport for not having money. This china bike will have to do...
I hear ya. Ride on, and fix as necessary!

2006 LF 299G-Y:

Spot welds breaking.

Rubber component mounts breaking and cracking.

turn signal broke from "garage rash".

fuel line made of vacuum hose.

lost rear disc mounting screw.

clutch switch broken upon delivery.

Several headlamp bulbs.

Plastic instrument lenses hazing.

loose fasteners galore.

And for what it is worth, the electrical diagram must have been developed in kindergarten!

-Chain slider quickly wore out.
-Shaft for rear monoshock came unscrewed from its upper mount.
-Housing on left handlebar for light switches cracked (could have been from drop).
-Right mirror broke off--cheap plastic.
-Broke right side cover--cheap plastic.

1600 miles on bike.

I have to add my rear brake system is a bummer, the pistons often jam and cause leaks that splatter the right side of the rear tire, very messy to clean and bleed out old fluid......I will need to get a piston tool to get those out to clean around as I had fixed this about a month ago and it started again....Ive since removed the caliper cleaned everything and shoved the pistons back as well as bled the system again phew!

Forgot a few things. Clutch switch broke. Clutch diode broke. Most of the rubber mounting things are gone.

I have had to fix some of the wiring with new connectors and also rebolt my engine.

Original tires replaced after worn out. Almost ready for my 3rd rear tire.

I will say that I don't perform the best maintenance on my bike and it has NEVER (18 months) been washed. Ridden in the mud, rain, sand, water crossings, been laid down a few times.

I do check for loose bolts, lube the chain, check the tires and lights, and change the oil regularly.

Also I followed the DS prep guide thoroughly before riding my bike. I think that proper setup is the BIGGEST factor in getting the most from your bike. This is what a good dealer should be doing and is why alot of these bikes that were bought online or from a roadside vendor have alot of the problems that they do.

Biggest issue I ever had was the rubber mounts on the coil rotted into powder and other misc rubber on the bike. Also the front rim was never quite true and the spokes always came loose. But I only had my bike for about five months before I sold it so More might have happened later on if I had kept it. All in all pretty good lil bike.

I am very pleased to report that after 9,500 miles I have not had any mechanical problems with my 2006 Zongshen Sierra 200GY-2.

However, I have replaced several consumable items:

After 4,000 miles, replaced worn-out original drive chain with Tsubaki 428HQR drive chain
Replaced two burnt out light bulbs illuminating the speedometer
Replaced burnt out 35W/35W headlamp with 45W/45W headlamp
