Not sure what others have for rims, my lifan has 36 spoke rims. seems to be a standard sized rim for this shop.

As for pulling reference to a specific brand of bike. I have not done this yet. Is there a specific brand I need? as right now IMO a 36 spoke blank dimpled rim is a 36 spoke blank dimpled rim.

I have one in my bike. Much better than stock. I hope it doesn't burn out my generator...

As far as spoke/rim replacement, A blank 36 hole 21 inch rim should be the same for all bikes(width may vary), but as far as spokes, the length will be the kicker.

The 60 watt does fit, mine has been in for over a month now. its brighter than hell and no melting. I have actually had cars coming at me flashing me on low beam. The bike is a 2008 lf200gy5

I have a plastic lens, so I must monitor the heat to be sure I don't get a meltdown

My first shot at hallogen didn't go well. That 35w/35w is looking good to me. I hot wired a halogen in but I don't know the pin out for the High low and negitive terminals on the bulb. I had to try all combinations of wires to the 3 terminals on the bulb. The electrical draw was unacceptable. I need a lower wattage bulb like the 35/35.

Anyone try HID lighting? I have no experience with lighting.

Rear Shock

Any good ideas on what kind of shock would replace my rear shock which has gotten too soft even with tightening it. LF200gy-5

Here's what I did. The R1 shock was the only one I could find that was close in dimensions. 3000 miles later still works awesome.

red2003, I know youve heard it already, heck you got a whole 4 page post, but that was some AMAZING work, GREAT JOB BROTHER!

I do have one question, maybe you know or maybe someone else but the main subject deals with a Roketa, what about a lifan, do they have the same issue with the rear suspension?
