Shineray Speedometer Accuracy

I have a 2007 Shineray Allroad 200 with an analog speedometer, labeled as measuring MPH. I decided to use my Garmin GPS unit to navigate local back roads, but noticed that the Garmin's MPH was consistently 5 MPH less than the analog reading. Has anyone else noticed any issues with speedometer accuracy? If bike's analog is wrong, is there a way to recalibrate it (or is that just something I'll have to do in my head?). Any thoughts about this issue would be appreciated.

Mine's about the same, it reads 5 mph fast. I think other owners have found the same. A 3.00 section front tyre ( slightly bigger diameter) will reduce the difference a bit.

Mine reads about the same too.

My yamaha was even worse. 8-10mph difference at 65 mph.
