How are the Speedee's doing?

If I remember right a few guys from here bought them for around $900. Haven't read much about them for awhile. Just curious how they're doing?

I had a Lifan and sold it after I got my drz400. Thought about getting another 200 for cheap for my wife to ride and me to take here and there. Or I thought about getting one of those Lifan 110 mini bikes (look like the old Honda Trail 70's) because they're street legal as well.

My Speedy

My Shineray Speedee is doing good. I've got about 1000k on her. Only problems so far are rear brake problem solved with DOT3, some loose bolts/parts, flat tire. I changed the 56t rear to a 42t rear for road riding. All is good with my Speedee 200.

Hey Brother, can you tell me what sort of brake problem and how DOT-3 helped?

Thanks,
Tigertamer

The rear disc brake caliper kept locking up. Moving the adjustment screw didn't work. What worked for me is draining out all the original fluid and putting in some good DOT3.
