Hello from Birmingham, AL

Good afternoon Ladies and Gents. My name is Orvie but most folks just call me O. It is easy to remember and pretty easy to spell. I bought a Lifan LF200GY-5 a couple of months ago and I can't believe how dependable it has been. I only paid 1500.00 + uncle sam's portion and it runs great. I bought a Royal Enfield Bullet and sold it after the 2nd oil leak in 600 miles. My little 200 has the counter balanced engine so it is pretty smooth even at highway speeds. I haven't had any oil leaks or failure to start issues. Anyone out there having any odd problems?

Welcome. The gy5 have proven to be pretty dependable.

Expect to have some glitches though.

Welcome and good luck with your china bike. As long as the bike is not abused, they seem to go pretty well. Just observe the few precautions mentioned on numerous threads here, especially the one about LOCTITE and check your nuts and bolts!

I picked up my Tank GY4-200 last year and so far I have had zero issues. It has been a good performer for me on the mountain roads and trails, and also around town.

Yessir, O, we do seem to experience the "odd" problem on occasion!

I might suggest to work the bugs out before the warranty expires.$$$

Stay posted, stay informed,
