Riding in the Cascades of WA

Went for a spin this weekend for a couple hrs behind Hyak in the Cascades on the logging roads with my friend Ed (he has an XR200). Found there was still snow covering some areas of the road which made for some fun riding. Didn't do anything crazy, just buzzing around behind the ski areas and on back to Olallie Meadows where I snapped this photo. Good to be back on the mtn roads!

The area around Snoqualmie Pass is beautiful. I travel through there once in a while, looks like an excellent place to live. I usually take a short break from driving there when I'm on my way to the coast.
