Lifan 163fml (200cc)

Looked for the answer first, sorry if I missed it. Concerning
the Lifan 200cc black/chrome edition,(163fml) what Honda engine is
it based on? Doing some cylinder head port work, and also
wish to swap in a performance cam. Just need to know what
engine family it belongs to for a parts search. Many thanks. John.

I have seen alot of similarities to the xl185 engine. Not really sure if the cam will swap in or not.

The 83-84 xr200 seems to be a close match too, but I believe the chinese started will the cb125 engine.

the crf150f/230f cam will swap in with no modifications.

sorry, i forgot to say that it would fit as long as your engine is an over head cam series.
