I wrote down the CFMoto oil filter part number somewhere, but it was so long I gave up on it. After searching and comparing prices the KN-177 is a suggested alternative and I could find it cheaper and readily available...I grabbed 2 on sale saving a few more $. Made in Thailand, has a nut for easy turning which is a bonus. I don't think quality could be any worse than OEM. Have a full fuel tank to get through before I hit first service though. |

XLsior, I really appreciate your information. I'm currently waiting to return to my home and pickup my MT from the dealer the first week in April. Please keep the information and experiences coming. Happy trails.

I'm preoccupied now with securing property and preparing for a cyclone (hurricane/typhoon) named Alfred to hit my location, so not much riding planned for the current week.
So far I'm very happy with the MT450. But its definitely not a dualsport or a city/urban commuter. Last edited by XLsior; 03-03-2025 at 04:45 PM. |
