Ha! I went to like this and it removed my previous like! I guess that means that past me also liked this mod! (Don't worry, I put it back LOL). Looks great. I am a big fan of the tusk brand. I know their stuff is made in china and mostly very affordable....but....china bikes! So why not! The funny thing is I have a harder time justifying putting more expensive name brand stuff on these bikes. That is part of the fun! Chinese made stuff from Aliexpress or Amazon is right at home! I went with the JFG ones myself. I put a set of those on my Yamaha WR426F and thought that they were great so figured I would do the same for the Paladin. The only tires I use are the Tusk D-sport tires. Great off-road tread for a DOT tire and they hold up like crazy.

I ordered the D sport for the rear and their newer Waypoint tire for the front. Do you run your D sports tubeless?

I usually use tubes with them. For the paladin I am going to run mousse rings. First time using those so we will see how that works out. Never have a flat that way but I'm curious to see how they will be on the street.

Interesting! Yeah I’ve hear some people run the Dsports tubeless but I’ll play it safe and use them. The mouse ring sounds like an interesting concept. Definitely want to hear how you like (or dislike) them.

I know. I intrigued but apprehensive about them. The main drawback as I see it is not being able to adjust your psi for on road vs off-road. I am a mainly off-road guy (which is why I wasn't thinking about the "off road use only" thing mentioned on the big thread about the headlights...oops) but I still like the idea of being able to air up and air down for certain situations. There are also the "Mousse balls" which allow you to add or remove them to replicate different psi but what a pain in the ass to do every time! Those are also a lot more expensive. I'll see with these. Worst case is I'm out $250 and some tire change time.
