ATV Accessories Question – Best Add-ons for Trail Riding?

Hey everyone!

I’m new to ATV riding and looking to equip my bike with some essential accessories. I mainly do trail riding and want to make sure I’m prepared for a variety of conditions.

So far, I’m thinking about a good set of all-terrain tires, a winch, and some protective gear like handguards and skid plates.

Do you have any recommendations for other accessories that would enhance my experience or improve safety on the trails?

Also, what’s the best way to ensure everything fits properly with my specific ATV model?

My preference is to keep the ATV as light weight as possible. A good set of tires makes a big difference.Hand guards are good depending on where you're riding particularly if you ride in the Sonoran desert with all the thorn covered plants. A phone mount and USB power socket are useful for navigation. Avenza maps app with MVUM maps if you ride in national forests. Getting the right gear ratio makes a big difference. Never felt the need for a winch or a skid plate on a light weight ATV.
