380Powersport Arlington TX, Waranty Case
Vitacci Tank 200 EFI warranty case.
I bought the scooter fully assembled and tested at 360Powersport in Arlington TX. I've shared the China Rider link below to explain the problem with the scooter. Now we would see if the extra money I spent, to buy the fully assembled scooter, was worth it. I bought the scooter on 10/5/24 and picked it up, fully assembled and ready to ride, on 10/7/24. I was very happy with my purchase. Update #1 - 10/24/24 I called 360PowerSport in Arlington TX (Alex) and explained my problem. Alex said, OK bring the scooter to our service department in Arlington TX. Update #2 - 10/26/24: I delivered the scooter to the service department. They already knew about it and checked the scooter while I was still there. The mechanic checked (yes, the Vitacci tank does have an OBI II port in the battery compartment) the OBI II and the wires. Unfortunately, there was no result. The mechanic said to leave it there, but it would take a while. Something like that is never easy to find. They want to call me. Update #3 - 11/1/24 I have my scooter back. "It runs and idles." What was the problem? Now,- the problem is that I don't speak Spanish. Something on the rocker arm was broken. What exactly is beyond my knowledge, because technical problems cannot be made understandable without knowledge of the language. Update #4 - 11/1/24 In short, the scooter is running again, but now only at a maximum of 45mph. On a very long, slightly downhill stretch I saw 49 mph. This is a noticeable difference from the previous 55 mph and 59 mph. Even the RPM's have a big drop-down. Before the repair, the scooter rotated between 7000 and 7500 revolutions, now between 6500 and 7000. This explains the loss of speed. Somehow I find out why that is. By the way, gasoline consumption has also fallen dramatically. I drove 34 miles per gallon now. How do I know, you ask? Simple. I filled the Tank before and after test riding. And no, I don't lose gas to the outside. Everything looks tight. Update # 5 11/5/24 I've found out why my moped has such poor performance. It's on the drive belt. I have now ordered a new MMG belt. Update # 6 11/12/2024 1541 miles Since my scooter came back from the warranty work, my scooter motor doesn't go higher than 7000 rpm. It feels like an invisible wall. In free fall, i.e. when there is a steep decline, it goes a little over 7000 rpm. It then does about 57mph, otherwise, it stops at 55mph. I replaced the vario weights and found that the best top speed for me is 55 mph. The best variator weights are 15 grams for me. Havyer weights worsen the top speed again. This is absolutely inadequate and a joke considering that a 170cc with 12hp works there. With lighter weights, the OM ones, 13.5 grams, it stop at 49mph. I learned (youtube academy) that this it the same for others. Fuel consumption is very poor (between 42 mpg - 52 mpg) and the top speed is at 50 mph. There are no tuning parts for the 161QMK engine. Variator etc from the 150cc doesn't fit. There is no improvement at the moment. You'll have to learn to live at 55mph. https://www.chinariders.net/showthre...218#post413218 Last edited by Picollo; 11-12-2024 at 10:55 PM. |

Thanks for the updates. I am still researching if I want to purchase the Vitacci Tank 200 Deluxe. I’ve read and watched many reviews. So far the positives outweigh the negatives. I am very interested in your opinion.
