Benicio,
Low fuel in the tank can actually cause this (maybe fuel line or filter issue).

BUT, it sounds like you may have a blocked fuel inlet in the carburetor (float bowl valve) or other fueling issue. Hey, it starts right?!

First step might be to see if you have free flow to the carb.

1- discomnect the fuel line right at the inlet to the carb. The fuel should freely flow out the tube from the tank.
2- remove the float bowl drain. Again, fuel should freely flow out continuously.

All else fails, pull the cab and check the float bowl valve. May not be opening. Bend the tab to allow fuel to flow in.

Messy business, but you do seem to have a fuel flow problem. It could also be a dirty pilot jet/blocked.
