Not sure this will work (I have not uploaded a picture here in years ) ,but if you are going to build a boat ,build it like mine .No plans ,just made out of a bunch of aluminum scrap (noses of transport trailers to be more precise ) ,extremely useful ,I bring my Jeep to camp on the boat ,can fish from it ,party on it ,camp on it ,and I don’t have to worry about it rotting away .I have even taken it over class 2 rapids up and down with a lift of lumber on it .I recently repowered it with a 30hp Honda so it scoots along pretty quick now .

After installing the Bimini top, I had taken the boat out Saturday morning between the rain shower to test out the 11 pitch prop. Looks like i got it dialed in perfect. I only picked up a couple MPH but did get my rpm's down to where the should be. 26 mph @ 5,650 rpm's with just me in the boat. I'm sure once i add gear and another person it will be perfect.

I'm in the process of building a combination power trim/jack plate for the little engine. You can buy them already made but cost almost as much as the motor. I'm not spending over $850 for something i can fab myself. A friend of mine owns a fab shop and gave me some scrap pieces of 4 x 4 angle and 1/4" aluminum plate. I fabricated everything up Sunday afternoon since I couldn't go fishing because of he rain. This only took me an hour to put together. I needed to put it together before I could order the actuator as i didn't know the exact length i would need. I knew it would be between 4-6". It turned out that i would only need it to have 4" of travel. The actuator should arrive tomorrow so I should have it ready for the weekend to test out. Thanks. Pretty easy to make. It's all bolted so no welding. The actuator is pretty powerful for being so small.

I took the family out fishing yesterday. Boat still ran pretty good even with three people, two ice chest and gear. I'm impressed with the little motor.

Well, after almost two months, my Huangjie 40 HP came in yesterday. This is an exact copy of the Yamaha E40X 2 stroke. I'm going to mount it on the boat today and start the break in. I got it for just under $2k from AliExpress. It was worth the wait.
