The only way I would ride to work in the snow is with a sidecar. There is a side car behind the Vespa. Not as good on ice and snow as a Ural but it worked quite well. One cold morning when my wife needed the car I rode 7 miles to work at -18°F. The cables were so stiff I had to pull the brake peddle up with my toe to release it. Never again.
