New Handlebars

I had a small spill back early in the summer, and I am just now getting around to looking at getting new handlebars. The one I have is just slightly bent, but I want another one. There is a huge local ATV, Motorcycle store that has a bunch of different kinds. Does it really matter what kind that I get. Some of them were only in $20-30 range and some were much more. I would like to go cheap as possible. Some of the handlebars I looked at were ATV handlebars. Does it matter? Please, someone that knows anything about this let me know. Thanks

Handlebar selection is pretty much a personal choice.

One set of 7/8ths steel bars isnt goint to be all that different from the next.
4 factors guide your choice; height, width, sweep and bend.

Height is just as you guessed, how high you hands are compared to the mounting point.

Width is adjustable with careful use of a pipe cutter.

Sweep is how far back yor hands are from the mounting point.

Bend is how you wrists align to the bars in the riding position.

Differences in the riding position make some bars more comfortable on one bike over another.

If you like what you have, copy it. If you feel you sit too far forward with stockers, get more sweep/height, blah blah blah.

Remember to take into account the riding position when choosing new bars.
