After a drop, starter button is stuck

Any ideas on why I can't push the starter button on my handle bar? I dropped it in the grass, not a major drop pretty light actually... but the starter button won't push in now.

Loosen up the two screws in that hold the shells of your throttle piece together, just enough to slide them down a frog's hair.

I've tried adjusting the throttle further up the handle bar and further down the handle bar, but the starter button is still refusing to push in, not really sure what the connection is there for the throttle? Though I'm super new to motorcycles so I have no clue really what I'm doing.

The button for the starter just will not budge at all

Pull it off and look inside. Probably a little piece of plastic broke off and is blocking it.

Sure the piece with the blue arrows point to it isn't causing an obstruction?

See if you can reproduce the problem while you have it open like that. It may be that the solution is to smooth down some plastic edges that the switch is hanging up on. Either the orange switch itself or the black plastic it rides in.

So I took it completely apart and found that the sides of the button seemed to have fused to the plastic some how? I snapped it loose and sanded it and put a drop of lube on the sides. Put it back together and boom. It worked

Fused? Nah, it was probably just jammed together. At least it works now. Gotta love the stupid little issues like this.
