Oh? What about this older post?

Which leads me to my last post...

Follow Megadan's instructions for jetting. I suspect you had a vacuum leak while attempting to jet the Nibbi. Go slow, and only make one change at a time. Don't waste your time on a narrowband O2 sensor. They act like an on/off switch and are only useful for finding stoichiometry (14.7:1 AFR). This is fine for idle and midrange but too lean for 3/4-full throttle. You want more like 13:1 for high engine load. Is there a motorcycle shop nearby with a dyno? They could either jet your carb or provide a dyno sheet with AFR curve you could use for tuning. GL

Edit: After more thought the narrow band O2 sensor could be useful for baseline tuning. Afterward just increase the main jet by a few steps. Also, once the bung is installed you could upgrade to a wideband sensor later on.

if you're referring to the paper gaskets that come the nibbi and the insulation spacer...

I didn't install the spacer just 1 paper gasket with a light coat/smear of RTV/gasket slazz.

But if there was really a leak the bike would typically behave lean and spluttery.

The o'ring plate and paper gasket might help...its basically another insulation spacer plate and another paper gasket....
