Brass is great but if I can find them in aluminum I'm gonna swap out the steel washers to save weight.

I messed with my stock carb for a few days trying to get it to run right but never succeeded. I picked up the knock off from Amazon and now it it runs great. Cold start full choke for a few seconds then half choke for a couple more seconds then turn off choke and let it idle for a few more seconds and its off to the races...... Not fast races mind you.

Yes, that will certainly make a huge difference in overall weight and shock rebound quality. Personally I'd go with steel just for longer wear properties.

Even if I have to replace the washers annually it's worth it for the weight savings! I'm also planning to drill the slide for faster throttle response.

Well, I just got off the phone with R & L. I am delivery #7 and they told me it would probably arrive between 2pm and 4pm today. Guys, I feel like a kid waiting on Santa. I am 51! wtf? Oh well, you know it's the simple things. . . . .

Good plan. Drill the brake fluid reservoir while you're at it.....

I was on dirt bikes from early childhood to my young adult years, mostly 2 stroke bikes , and even after I was in my early 20s, me, and my old friends would still run the back roads on usually 4 wheelers by then, but we did go through a pipe buggy stage, but by my mid to late 20s, we all grew apart, and would just run into each other in town, or at the gas station. I went over 20 years, and had not even swung a leg over an actual 2 wheel motorcycle. I retired at 53, and I don't drink, or have any real hobbies other than reloading, and hunting, and I don't enjoy either of them like I did, so I thought I would get back into motorcycle riding. I had never had a street legal bike, when I ordered my Brozz . I got the "Sport" version in black, and I kept the roads hot with it. I eventually bought a couple of small low street cruisers, but just don't enjoy them, like I do my "Chonda" enduro bikes. I catch myself riding back roads that I have never been on before. I was on some the other day on my Hawk and was in 3 different counties. I can see why similar bikes are popular in less developed countries, because, on a fairly decent gravel, or dirt back road you can run a true gps verified speed of around 25 miles an hour, and not be uncomfortable, or abusive to the bike. If I were to try to run the same roads in my truck, at the same speeds, it would beat me, and the truck to death . Around here in West Virginia, I can get anywhere and take back road if I want, and many are actually faster than taking the normal automobile route. These bikes have plenty of useful torque, and don't suffer from lack of power on back roads. I have only changed fork oil, vand and preload spacers in my front ends, and changed the rear shock to an adjustable preload shock on the Hawk, along with fork braces in both my TBR7, and Hawk, and as far as suspension, I'm fine. I worry more about my rims than anything. As long as you use the bikes properly, and know what they can take, they are fun, and probably more fun for us old guys, who have no desire, or need for a bike that can "rip", and catch big air. LOL
