Hawk 250 front fork upgrade

Looking to upgrade my forks for extreme off road use, what's the best way to do this?

Get a bike better suited to extreme off road use. Even if you upgrade the front end, the rear swing arm is not built for it. There are people who have adapted swing arms from older Hondas, same as the front forks (Old XR's). Then, even if you upgrade everything, the rear will still be limited in suspension travel compared to the front. By the time all is said and done, you could likely just buy an older CRF230 and fix it up between the money you sell the Hawk for, plus what you would potentially spend on the parts to swap over to the Hawk.

Just my 2 cents. Take it for what it's worth and do your own thing at the end of the day. I love my Hawk, and it has some off road capability, but it's far from ideal for real heavy use. Now an XR650L, that would be my choice.
