the first thing I have run into, is
the rear shock. Maybe I've been out of the game for to long.
but to me it is upside down. The adjustments are on top.

The air cleaner must be remove to get at it.

Also it did not come with a battery. I am also putting together a
2021 Tao 250. That battery will not fit because of air cleaner.

Like I said gonna need some help.

The last bike I built was a 1970's 185 Susuki, still have it but, if you
do the math, I am too old to ride it.

Thanks
Dean

ps. I am looking at suggeseted posts

No battery is a mistake. It should have come with one. Contact the seller if you can't find it on the bike or in the other stuff in the crate.

Thumper that's what I thought. I tore into everything this morning
The main problem was the air cleaner (housing and everything with it)
was not installed properly. I bought a battery for it and just finished
installing it. I would have bought the battery anyway. I am also putting
together a TBR7. In starting it for the first time I new their batteries
are not worth putting in.

I had to extend both the positive and negative wires. The neg was aft
pos forward Just not enough length for this application.

I was also very surprised the adjustment on the rear shock was at
the top. I don't think it was upside down as the mounting would not
allow any other way.

Well back to it see what other trouble I can get in.

Dean
